After graduating college, I taught 5th grade for 4 years. Then the Lord called me to the World Race mission trip (11 month mission trip). (Learn more here: World Race).

This year was an incredible journey through 11 different countries, cultures, and spiritual challenge.

After being home for 2 months, I was hired on at Adventures in Missions, the organization that sends missionaries around the globe throughout the year.

I currently serve as an Advisor and the Admissions Operations Manager. An advisor works with missionaries as they prepare for the field. I work with Gap Year (18-21 year olds serving on 9 month mission trip), World Race (21-35 year olds serving on 11 month mission trip), and Parent Vision Trips (parents of World Race participants who serve for 1 week alongside of their kids).

This is an incredible job of journeying next to each participant as they are called to go to the nations. I am able to be their cheerleader, encourager, listening ear, question asker, question answerer, check in person. An outside source to hear what the Lord has been doing, and to spur them on to more of the Lord’s plan in their season of preparation.
