Reunion with Fusion at our coaches house!

Passport Updates

This June, three of the trips I have helped to mobilize will be launching onto the field. There are 17 girls leaving for the Dominican Republic to serve for 1 month. Another group of 17 girls are leaving for Swaziland to serve for 2 months. And lastly, a co-ed group of 19 will be serving in Guatemala for 2 months. In July, one of the trips I have helped to mobilize will be launching to Zambia. There are 17 guys and girls leaving to serve for 1 month.

I have learned so much from each of these participants–from their story of how the Lord called them to the field, how the Lord is moving in their lives, and how He is stretching their faith in learning how to depend on Him for their financial needs.

Dominican Republic ministry: The team will work with a children’s ministry in the form of Vacation Bible school and also help with construction projects.
Swaziland ministry: AIM Base Care Points-they will do home visits, sports ministry and visit hospital patients
Guatemala ministry: The team will be working with orphans and widows through providing meals and building relationships.
Zambia ministry: The team will work with churches by leading training, youth ministry, and kids ministry. They will also work on leadership trainings in rural areas.

World Race Updates

Although the World Race route that I am mobilizing does not launch until January, I wanted to share how things are going with this trip so far! We have 16 people who have signed up for this trip. We have 5 internationals on the trip; the countries represented are Scotland, Indonesia, France, Canada, and the Netherlands. Each of these participants is beginning a journey of learning–to trust the Lord, to step out in faith for fundraising, and to share their story with many people.

This past month, I helped mobilize an Exposure participant for the Fusion route that is on the field now. He is from Indonesia, and he joined the team for April. He has been a huge blessing to the team because he is a local and understands how to help the team navigate the city. Also, the Lord provided his funding for his trip within 3 weeks! It has been so incredible to watch his journey as his faith has expanded.

Personal Updates

ESL Class: We are three weeks in. We have had 4-8 students each week. Each of the ladies that attend are so sweet and excited to be learning. This past week, it was exciting to hear them create complete sentences that were in depth and descriptive. It was encouraging to see their growth in confidence and comfortability with us.

Tuesday Night Middle School Group: I have been attending this activity for a few weeks now. We have studied the Word together, gone to Taco Bell for a fellowship night, and this past week I got to share my testimony with the students. I have enjoyed getting to know each of the students, even though it takes time to build trust with them and learn about their lives. I am excited to see how we continue to build our friendships over the next few weeks.

Continue to pray for the work the Lord has going on here in Georgia!
